1. Enroll in the Course:

First, enroll in the course from the course page if you have not already done so (click the, Back to Course” button below). CCAPP members will need to be logged in using their membership account in order to get member discount pricing. If you need assistance, contact CCAPP Membership.

2. Complete Each Lesson:

Make sure you complete every lesson. After watching/reading the lesson content and taking the quiz, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the “Mark Complete” button. This action indicates that you’ve finished that lesson.

For videos, you must watch the video in its entirety or you will not be able to progress to the next section/lesson.

3. Course Structure:

There are three video sections. The first two are one hour long and the last is one hour and thirty minutes. Be sure you have time to watch the full length in each section as you cannot save your spot in a video and return later to the same spot. Leaving a lesson before the video is finished will cause you to have to watch it again from the beginning.

The resources section contains information discussed during the webinar for download or reference. You do not have to view them, just be sure to mark the resources lesson as complete or you will not receive your completion certificate.

4. Evaluation Section:

On the evaluation section, fill out the form and click “Submit.” Then click on, “Mark Complete” to progress to the quiz section.

5. Take the Quiz:

There are four (4) questions per quiz attempt. You will have no limit on the number of attempts to pass the quiz. There is an eight (8) minute time limit to complete the quiz. A score of 75% is required to pass the quiz.

6. Use of Technology:

Our course content, particularly video materials, is optimized for smooth playback when accessed through a reliable internet connection. While WiFi is commonly used, it can sometimes be prone to fluctuations and interruptions, potentially affecting the quality of your learning sessions.

To enhance your experience and minimize the risk of disruptions, we strongly recommend connecting to the internet via a hard-wired system (Ethernet cable). This will provide a more stable and consistent connection, reducing the likelihood of buffering or video playback issues.

It’s important to note that while we strive to provide an optimal learning environment, we are not responsible for individual computer problems. We recommend ensuring that your device is in good working condition and meets the technical requirements for accessing our course materials.

7. ADA Compliance Policy

CCAPP is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive learning environment in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable laws. We recognize the importance of equitable access to educational resources and have implemented the following accommodations to support a diverse range of learners:

  • Language Access: Our platform features translation software that allows users to translate on-site text into multiple languages. Please note that some video and flip-book content may not be translatable.
  • Visual Aid Options: We provide customizable visual aids, including adjustable font sizes, contrast settings, and alternative text descriptions for images, to enhance accessibility for individuals with visual impairments.
  • Closed Captioning: All video content includes closed captioning to ensure accessibility for individuals with hearing impairments.

These measures reflect our commitment to reasonable accommodations, ensuring meaningful access to our educational materials.

Please note that while we strive to maintain a broadly accessible platform, we may not be able to provide individualized accommodations beyond the features listed above. Users requiring additional support are encouraged to utilize their own assistive technologies or contact their educational institution or employer for further assistance.

Continuing education credit IS NOT OFFERED for this course as this is a pre-certification workshop. Only if advised by credentialing, there may be limited circumstances in which one may use this course for Professional Development Hours (PDH).
