As a motivational speaker and author of Kristina with a K: A Rainbow Person’s Journey from Addiction to Recovery, Kristina shares insights into LGBTQ experiences with addiction. Serving as Vice President of Education and Strategic Development at CCAPP, they are a trailblazer in their field.

Kristina also directed California’s Offender Mentor Certification Program, overseeing 12 in-prison counselor training programs. Collaborating with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), they brought innovation and growth to in-custody treatment programs, setting benchmarks for criminal justice reform and recovery-focused initiatives.
