Join our comprehensive training program designed to equip aspiring clinical supervisors. This essential training equips substance use disorder and mental health professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to identify and respond to suicide risk—especially during the emotionally challenging holiday season. Participants will learn to recognize clinical warning signs, understand the unique intersection of substance use and suicidality, and apply trauma-informed, culturally inclusive, diverse, and responsive interventions. The session covers practical screening tools, effective safety-planning techniques, and holiday-specific stressors that elevate risk. Counselors and therapists will leave prepared to support clients through this sensitive time with compassion, competence, and evidence-based strategies that save lives.
