3. Course Structure:
This course has four (4) lessons. This is lesson one. Lesson two is a video. Lesson three is a required course evaluation. Lesson four is the quiz.
The video lesson lasts about two hours. Make sure that you take thorough notes as they may prove to be an indispensable resource for the quiz. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to fast-forward or rewind videos. Additionally, please note that leaving the webpage or minimizing the window will cause the video to stop playing. Although the system is designed to save your progress in the video, it’s important to note that the reliability of this functionality can vary due to differences in individual computer setups and/or internet quality. Be sure to click or tap the “Mark Complete” button once you have completely watched the video.
4. Course Evaluation:
On the evaluation section, fill out the form and click “Submit.” Then click on, “Mark Complete” to progress to the quiz section.
5. Taking the Quiz:
Quizzes will be limited by time and only one chance to retake. A passing score of 75% is required in order to pass and get issued a CE certificate.
6. Use of Technology:
Our course content, particularly video materials, is optimized for smooth playback when accessed through a reliable internet connection. While WiFi is commonly used, it can sometimes be prone to fluctuations and interruptions, potentially affecting the quality of your learning sessions.
To enhance your experience and minimize the risk of disruptions, we strongly recommend connecting to the internet via a hard-wired system (Ethernet cable). This will provide a more stable and consistent connection, reducing the likelihood of buffering or video playback issues.
It’s important to note that while we strive to provide an optimal learning environment, we are not responsible for individual computer problems. We recommend ensuring that your device is in good working condition and meets the technical requirements for accessing our course materials.
7. ADA Compliance Policy:
CCAPP is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive learning environment in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable laws. We recognize the importance of equitable access to educational resources and have implemented the following accommodations to support a diverse range of learners:
- Language Access: Our platform features translation software that allows users to translate on-site text into multiple languages. Please note that some video and flip-book content may not be translatable.
- Visual Aid Options: We provide customizable visual aids, including adjustable font sizes, contrast settings, and alternative text descriptions for images, to enhance accessibility for individuals with visual impairments.
- Closed Captioning: All video content includes closed captioning to ensure accessibility for individuals with hearing impairments.
These measures reflect our commitment to reasonable accommodations, ensuring meaningful access to our educational materials.
Please note that while we strive to maintain a broadly accessible platform, we may not be able to provide individualized accommodations beyond the features listed above. Users requiring additional support are encouraged to utilize their own assistive technologies or contact their educational institution or employer for further assistance.
