This is the fifth course in the 12 Core Functions Series by Dr. John W. Herdman. The series is based on Dr. Herdman’s book, “Global Criteria: The 12 Core Functions of the Substance Abuse Counselor.” These core functions are the types of tasks that are required day-to-day in the world of addiction counseling. The core functions should give one a solid foundation. Each function is based on a set of global criteria and is used by addiction professionals around the world.
